The XXVIII European Leksell Gamma Knife Society (ELGKS) Users Meeting will take place in Granada from 27 to 29 November, bringing together leading European experts in stereotactic radiosurgery for three days of scientific exchange and clinical debate.
Key highlights include:
• Latest updates on Gamma Knife research and ongoing clinical trials
• AI and treatment planning: Lightning vs manual planning, machine learning, and future perspectives
• Current challenges in the treatment of brain metastases
• Functional radiosurgery, including trigeminal neuralgia and movement disorders
• Fractionation and radiobiology across multiple indications
• Advances in imaging, tractography, and treatment delineation
• Rare and controversial indications in Gamma Knife radiosurgery
• Young Gamma Knife Centers Corner and a Joint ELGKS–EANS Session on the role of Gamma Knife versus other technologies in Europe
The meeting will be held at the Meliá Granada Hotel, in the historic city of Granada, and will feature interactive debate sessions, networking opportunities, and the ELGKS Business Meeting.
